Scheduled for completion in May 2023, Etermar together with Teixeira Duarte, Tecnovia Açores, Marques and SETH, signed the consignment for the Ponta Delgada's harbour deepening.

The project consists of dredging the port basin and building a pier length of 450m, 160m section to -10,00m (CD) and another one with 290m to -12,00m (CD) depth. The new pier structure will consist of prefabricated reinforced concrete caissons.

In addition to dredging work and the new pier, the project includes embankments improvement and other port facilities upgrades.
